PRG Supplier Tariff Updates & Impact as of October 1st

We understand that Canadian distributors are concerned about potential U.S. supplier price increases. Rest assured, most of our suppliers are maintaining their current pricing to help stabilize your business.

  • Unaffected: by China to USA tariffs or “USA Made” counter tariffs.
  • Stock styles inventoried in Surrey BC.

  • Product is directly imported from China.

  • Unaffected: by China to USA tariffs or “USA Made” counter tariffs.

  • Over 60% of available catalogue items are “Canadian Made” (click here to view Made in Canada products), remaining items are direct import from China.

  • Unaffected: PRG and Ariel have worked together ensuring that pricing remains unchanged on select China-imported products for the June 1st, 2025 scheduled price increase.

  • Unaffected: Goldstar ships from Mexico directly into Canada via bonded transit and will not be affected by China to USA tariffs.

  • Unaffected: No changes on all products.

  • 90% of product is made in the Philippines, remaining items are imported directly into Canada from China.

  • Unaffected: When shipping into Canada, if you choose to ship on 3M Promotional Markets’ account, 3M will cover the tariff charges for you. That means no surprise fees. As of Sept. 01, Counter-tariffs have been lifted.

  • Unaffected: Compass had implemented a price increase on U.S.-made products to account for counter-tariffs. As of Sept 1, 2025, this has been lifted.

  • Unaffected: Most Peerless items are made in China.
  • Unaffected: Igloo collection As of Sept 1, 2025, general retaliatory tariffs on U.S. goods were removed.

Important Notes: 

  • Tariffs apply only to U.S.-origin products. Most supplier products are made outside the U.S. and remain unaffected.

  • If our suppliers are based in the U.S., they are responsible for the import process and will bear any tariff costs.
